From an early age I was always drawing. I would draw trains, tanks, helicopters, and planes. I would seek out the largest sheet of paper I could find, lay it on the floor, and draw for hours. I'd get lost in my own little creative world.

I grew up in a house with a lot of pets. We had a pet Tortoise named Sam, fish, frogs, cats, hamsters, budgies, rabbits, and the list goes on. I remember traveling to a beach when I was 4 years old and finding masses of jellyfish washed up as far as you could see. I spent my childhood fishing in creeks and rivers just so I could get a glimpse at the strange creatures that lived under that murky water.

After graduating high school I spent a few years exploring options before finally deciding that art school was the direction to go. Art school was an amazing experience, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011.

After many more years of exploring I now live on Vancouver Island, in beautiful British Columbia. I am fascinated by the plants and animals that surround me. This fascination inspires me to create. I hope you enjoy my work.
